Sam Keimweiss (he/him) is a sophomore double majoring in philosophy and global health studies, with an intended minor in legal studies. This summer, he will be a medical advocacy intern with the Colorectal Cancer Alliance, helping to design and implement grassroots training to get patients and providers across the country to advocate for colonoscopies. Sam is an aspiring public health and cancer professional and also serves in volunteer positions on the National Campus and Youth Engagement Team of the American Cancer Society, as the advocacy chair, and on the executive board of the American Public Health Association’s Student Assembly, as a membership co-chair. On campus, Sam has been a leader in public health as an executive member of Community Health Corps, Physicians for Human Rights Student Chapter, Relay for Life, and Students Consulting for Nonprofit Organizations.
