Lawrence A. Miller served as senior council in the Washington D.C. law office of Sidley Austin, joining the firm in 1976. During his long career there he was involved in regulatory and antitrust matters pertaining to telecommunication, railroad, and pipeline common carriers. Miller also practiced before the Interstate Commerce Commission and Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, in state and federal courts. He received his JD from Yale University. Miller passed away in 2009.
