Urgent & Critical Response

Report an Urgent or Critical Issue

For an emergency such as a fire or involving immediate physical danger to you or others, call 911.

Examples of Critical Issues Requiring Immediate Response

Broken Windows, Doors, or Card Readers

Please be ready to identify the building and window or door impacted. Our team will address the broken equipment or window and clean the affected area if necessary.

Elevator Entrapments or Service Issues

Please be ready to identify the elevator location and building. For emergencies that occur when riding an elevator, use the communication devices provided in the elevator.

Active Leaks

Please be ready to identify the building, room number, and type of space (such as a lab or office). Our teams will assess the nature of the leak, stop it, and clean the affected area. Additional information on water intrusion events can be found on the Environmental Health and Safety website.

Power Outages

If you witness an outage that is not listed in our Announcements and Notifications, please call with information about the location of the outage.

Active Alarms

If you hear a security alarm that is not a test listed in our Announcements and Notifications, please call with information about the location of the alarm.

Fallen Trees

Facilities coordinates the removal of fallen trees in the public way. Please be ready to identify the location of the tree and if its removal is an emergency.
