Building and Campus Access
Procedures and accommodations for safety and inclusion.
Northwestern maintains a number of standards to create an accessible, inclusive and secure campus environment.
Physical Access to Campus
Northwestern recently updated its campus building security efforts by establishing standard building hours and electronic locks on most exterior doors that can be accessed by using a valid Wildcard. The new standard is designed to emphasize safety while providing convenient access for students, staff, faculty and visitors.
If accessing the campus using bikes, scooters or othr active transportation, you may wish to learn more about restrictions and parking guidelines.
