Operations and Maintenance include tradespeople in areas that range from carpentry and electrical to plumbing and HVAC repair. The trades are supported by programmatic areas that include Reliability Engineering, Infrastructure Planning, Customer Service, and an Administrative pool.
The four units that comprise the Planning Division work together to provide programming, planning, and management services to the Northwestern community. They include Campus Master Planning, Building & Space Planning, Space Information, and Capital Planning.
Facilities provides project management services for construction projects from idea conception through completion. This includes developing project scopes, budgets and schedules, and coordinating contractor work.
The Real Estate Office manages Northwestern University's real estate portfolio. This work includes acquisitions and dispositions, accepting gifts of real estate, and managing commercial leases and license agreements.
