Student Advisory Board
The Office of Civil Rights and Title IX Compliance works to address discrimination, harassment, and sexual misconduct in the Northwestern community and is committed to integrating student voices into these efforts. In previous academic years, the office has engaged a student advisory board to assist with recruiting community members to complete campus climate surveys, review policies and procedures, provide comments to Department of Education proposed regulations, and develop educational materials to assist graduate students in understanding their reporting obligations. The Office of Civil Rights and Title IX Compliance looks to further this engagement in future academic years. In the meantime, OCR is meeting with student organizations for feedback on processes.
