For Staff and Faculty: 

Introduction Visit (30 minutes)

Invite an OCR staff member to your next meeting to address one of the following topics: understanding reporting obligations or an overview of OCR processes and functions. 

Notice, Report, Support (60 minutes)

An interactive workshop covering harassment, discrimination and sexual misconduct reporting obligations, OCR processes, and contextualizing scenarios with policy language. 

Notice, Report, Support (90 minutes)

In addition to the 60 Minute training content, participants will cover additional scenarios and navigating disclosures. 

For Undergraduate and Graduate Student Populations: 

Consent with CARE and OCR

This participatory 60 minute in-person discussion will cover: CARE functions and OCR processes, Title IX policy language and its connection to “real life,” on campus reporting and confidential support options, scenario practice for trauma responsive disclosures. Best suited for class visits or trainings for undergraduate and graduate student employees who are Responsible Employees.  

CSA and Responsible Employee Reporting

This interactive 60 minute in-person workshop will cover: reporting obligations for both the Clery Act and Responsible Employees, on campus reporting and confidential support options, what happens after a report is made, and trauma responsive scenario practice. Available for undergraduate and graduate student employees who are Responsible Employees and CSAs.

Graduate Responsible Conduct of Research Training

Invite OCR to class to discuss responsible employee policies that apply to graduate students, confidential resources on campus, what happens to a report after it is sent to OCR, and work through at least one practice scenario. Topics connect to RCR requirements related to "policies for handling misconduct," and contribute to ongoing conversations on "Safe research environments (e.g., those that promote inclusion and are free of sexual, racial, ethnic, disability and other forms of discriminatory harassment)."

Meeting or Chapter Visit

Invite OCR for 30-60 minutes to your student organization meeting to learn what happens when a report comes to OCR, supportive measures, and how we refer students to confidential resources on campus.
