Meet the Staff
Daniel joined the Office of Budget and Planning (OBP) in 2015, serving in various leadership and analytical roles. Prior to Northwestern, Daniel was a consultant with Brailsford & Dunlavey, Inc., where he helped develop strategic financial plans and capital programs for higher education clients across the country. He also spent several years at The Community Builders, Inc. as an assistant project manager guiding public housing transformation projects. Originally from Indiana, Daniel earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Southern California – Marshall School of Business – with a minor in Cinema-Television and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Eric joined the Office of Budget and Planning in 1989, after several years in the University Controller’s Office. Originally from New York, Eric holds an AB in Classics and English from Harvard University and an MBA from Kellogg. In his free time, Eric enjoys attending Northwestern athletic events.
Sara joined the Office of Budget and Planning in 2010. Prior to the OBP, Sara worked in finance/accounting for Aon. Sara holds a degree in Finance with a focus in Entrepreneurship and International Business from Miami University. In Sara’s free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
Anna joined the Office of Budget and Planning (OBP) in 2018. Prior to Northwestern, Anna worked for Roche in Switzerland and Genentech in San Francisco. Originally from St. Louis, Anna earned her bachelor’s degree at Rice University and an MBA from Santa Clara University. In her free time, Anna chases her two sons around and bikes outside when possible and inside on a Peloton when weather in unfavorable.Ashley joined the Office of Budget and Planning in 2019. Prior to the OBP, Ashley worked as a project accountant for engineering/construction companies. Originally from Dwight, IL, Ashley holds a B.S. in Finance from Southern Illinois University. In Ashley’s free time, she teaches yoga in Wilmette when she is not playing with her cat Greenbean.
Eric joined the Office of Budget and Planning (OBP) in 2019. Eric holds a B.S. in Accounting and Economics from Illinois State University. In Eric’s free time, he enjoys playing golf, exercising, and cooking.
Katie joined the Office of Budget and Planning (OBP) in 2021. Prior to the OBP, Katie worked in various financial and administrative roles across Northwestern University. Katie holds a BFA in Jewelry Design from Pratt Institute. In Katie’s free time, she enjoys exploring the outdoors with her husband, three kids, and two French bulldogs.
Jim joined the Office of Budget and Planning (OBP) in 2021. Prior to the OBP, Jim worked in Facilities Management as a Financial Analyst at Northwestern University. Jim holds BA in Linguistics and an M.Ed. in Student Personnel in Higher Education from the University of Florida.
Maddie joined the Office of Budget and Planning in 2021. Prior to the OBP, Maddie worked for the Governor’s Office of Management and Budget for the State of Illinois. Originally from Chelsea, Michigan, Maddie holds her degree in Political Science with a minor in Economics from Illinois Wesleyan University. She likes to volunteer, go on adventures, and spend her free time with her family and friends.
Scott joined the Office of Budget and Planning in 2023. Prior to Northwestern, Scott worked in Wealth Management at Wintrust Community Bank in Arlington Heights. Scott holds a BBA in Finance from the Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa. In his free time, Scott likes to attend Chicago sporting events as well as spending time with family and friends.
Trevor joined the Office of Budget and Planning in 2021. Prior to the OBP, Trevor worked as a COVID-19 Coordinator and a flight attendant for United Airlines. Originally from Lowell, IN, Trevor holds an M.S. in Human Services Program Administration from Eastern Illinois University. Trevor has two cats, Buttons and Elwood.
