Northwestern Programs Offering Direct Credit
The following Northwestern programs offer direct Northwestern credit for courses taken abroad. Most courses have Northwestern course numbers with an "-SA" (study abroad) designation. Students are registered for Northwestern courses in CAESAR, which means that they will appear individually on the Northwestern transcript along with letter grades and credit totals for each course. Grades earned in these classes are calculated into the Northwestern term and cumulative GPAs.
These programs also count toward the Undergraduate Registration Requirement and are exempt from the study abroad administrative fee.
