Steps for enrolling in the Visiting Scholar Plan (VSP):

• The Host department must submit an enrollment form via the GBS Portal.
• Dependents should be enrolled in the GBS Portal while submitting the enrollment form.
• Once a scholar is enrolled in the VSP plan, ID cards will be generated and sent to the insured individual.

Premiums

• Premiums for the Visiting Scholar Plan are billed to the host department through a chartstring.
• If necessary, GBS can also accommodate payment from scholars directly via credit card or ACH transfer.
