Risk Management and Insurance staff has direct responsibility for the development of guidelines and procedures that address the risk exposures that may affect Northwestern University’s ability to achieve our academic, research, and operational goals. The staff actively engages with academic and operational units to coordinate campus risk assessments and loss prevention activities to support our partners in making educated risk decisions.
Risk Management and Insurance is also responsible for administering and financing the University’s property and casualty insurance programs.
We value our role as a strategic partner and serve to appropriately balance risk to carry out the University’s mission.
