The Risk Management team has direct responsibility for the development of guidelines and procedures that address the risk exposures that may affect Northwestern University’s ability to achieve our academic, research, and operational goals. The team actively engages with academic and operational units to coordinate campus risk assessments and loss prevention activities to support our partners in making educated risk decisions.

The specialized EH&S team focuses on the prevention of incidents or accidents that might result from operating conditions, with principal focus on protecting the members of the University community and the environment.
