I am grateful to this year’s honorees and all members of our faculty who partake in this work. I hope that you find fulfillment in the service you pursue, and that it provides an opportunity to forge new relationships as well as meet professional goals.

I also want take this opportunity to recognize the 2026 winners of the annual Alumnae Award for Curriculum Innovation: Elizabeth Horn, Associate Professor of Theatre, and Xiaowei Wang, a Mancosh Pathways to the Professoriate Postdoctoral Fellow in Communication Studies. Their commitment to enhancing our students' classroom experience is commendable and inspiring.

Sincerely,

Kathleen Hagerty
