I am Ryan Albelda, a rising sophomore studying Industrial Engineering and minoring in Environmental Policy. I am from the western suburbs of Chicago, yet one of my favorite places is the Rocky Mountains. I am a proud owner of two cacti that live in my dorm room. At NU, I am the Northwestern co-coordinator for Eye to Eye, part of Greek life. I am happy to be part of One Book.

I am Dylan Doppelt, a sophomore in Weinberg studying Political Science. I’m from Chicago and grew up in the Humboldt Park neighborhood. I enjoy tweeting, talking about politics, and playing with all sorts of technology. On campus, I’m a member of the NU College Democrats, NU Hillel, NU Nights, and Associated Student Government. I’m incredibly excited to help engage the NU community as a One Book ambassador!

I am Shreya Goel, a sophomore studying Mathematical Methods in Social Sciences, Economics, and Math. I am involved in student consulting organizations for non-profits, Northwestern Chronicle, and puzzle club. My passion lies in education, and I hope to eventually start a non-profit to create education infrastructure.

I am Anissa Hajaree, a rising sophomore and double major in Communication Studies and International Studies. I am from Old Bridge, New Jersey, and enjoy reading, writing, and drinking coffee. I work at the Center for Talent Development, a branch company of SESP, in the Marketing Communications department. I’m really excited to be a One Book ambassador this year and help engage NU in necessary and insightful conversation.

My name is Isabella Jiao, and I’m a sophomore from Shandong, China. I went to Singapore for high school, and would like to think of myself as half Singaporean, as well. Currently, I’m majoring in journalism and economics. I’m part of the Northwestern News Network and North by Northwestern. I also enjoyed my time being part of the planning committee for Dance Marathon and Dillo Day. My passion in life lies in horses, filmmaking, and ancient Egypt. I’m considering picking the broadcasting track for my journalism major and possibly making documentaries in the future.

I’m Ari Levin, a rising sophomore in Weinberg studying Mathematical Methods in the Social Sciences. I’m from Boca Raton, Florida, and am a huge Miami Marlins fan. I’m part of WNUR Sports Radio at Northwestern and am super excited to be a One Book ambassador to teach the power of big data to people less mathematical than me!
