I am Ryan Albelda, a senior studying Industrial Engineering and Environmental Science. This is my third year being part of One Book and I could not be more excited! I am from the western suburbs of Chicago, but the Rocky Mountains are one my favorite places. I am a proud owner of a cactus and a distance runner. At NU, I am a mentor with Eye to Eye, part of Chi Omega, a Family Ambassador and involved with NU Hillel.
I am AnnElise Hardy, I’m a senior pursuing degrees in Biomedical Engineering and Materials Science and Engineering. I grew up outside St. Louis, MO and enjoy reading, baking, and hiking in my free time. On campus, I am the VP of Operations for Engineers Without Borders. This is my second year as a One Book Ambassador, and I’m excited to continue to engage the NU community in great discussions.
My name is Sadie Hood and I'm a junior studying Computer Science with a minor in Middle East North African Studies. On campus I am involved in Alternative Student Breaks, Alpha Phi Omega (the service fraternity), Women in Computing, and ballroom and latin dance classes. I'm super excited to be working with the One Book this year as an ambassador!
Hello, my name is Angelica Moody! I am a junior majoring in Social Policy with minors in African American studies and Legal Studies as well as an IMC certificate. I am involved with Peer Health Exchange where I go into CPS schools on Friday mornings to teach high school freshman about mental and sexual health. I also am on the PR and Productions committee for Unity. As a One Book Ambassador this year I am honored and excited to be able to further explore the intersections of feminism with other marginalized identities as well as connecting One Book to the student population in a greater capacity.
My name is Cathy Moore and I am a sophomore double-majoring in Economics and Legal Studies. I grew up in Maryland, in between the cities of Baltimore and DC. I enjoy reading, iced coffee, and hanging on the lakefill on a warm day. On campus, I am a member of ASG’s sustainability committee, iGEM, and Delta Zeta. I am excited to be an One Book ambassador this year and engage with the events and dialogue on campus.

On campus, I have been involved with Jones Residential College, and I am a staff member for Helicon, Northwestern’s oldest student-run literary magazine. I am excited to be a part of the One Book team and to discuss dystopian fiction!
Hi! I'm Jared Zvonar, and I'm rising junior from Watertown, WI studying Learning and Organizational Change, History, and Political Science. On campus, I'm also involved with the Northwestern Marching Band, Boomshaka, Ukulele Club, and the Phi Sigma Pi honors fraternity. I usually spend whatever small amount of free time I have playing musical instruments with friends or satisfying my addiction to Andy's frozen custard. I'm super thrilled to get started with my first year working with the One Book team to spark new dialogues across campus!
