One Book One Northwestern, the podcast

The book is just the beginning. Our podcast follows Wildcats having engrossing conversations, on campus and beyond, about this year’s One Book. Brought to you by the The Medill School of Journalism, Media, Integrated Marketing Communications and One Book One Northwestern, the podcast can be found on iTunes, SoundCloud, and below. This will allow you access new episodes automatically. We will also have all podcasts posted on the website.

This year’s podcast episodes were created by students from two classes—a Medill class on podcasting,(taught by Anne Ford) and an English class on feminist dystopian fiction (taught by One Book faculty chair Helen Thompson).

Some of the pieces you’ll hear emerged from interviews the podcasting students did with the English students. Others came about when the English students wrote their own dystopias, and the podcasting students turned them into pieces for the ear. And others were created by the podcasting students all on their own.

Every week we will post a new and original podcast starting Monday January 7th - February 4th.  Each episode will be up on iTunes and SoundCloud.

The SoundCloud link to all of our podcasts can be found here.
