Meredith Belloni

Meredith Belloni

I’m Meredith Belloni, and I’m a senior studying Cognitive Science and Linguistics. I’m from Lafayette, Louisiana, and a proud Cajun. You can usually find me painting, going to museums, or playing board games. On campus, I serve as President of the Weinberg Student Advisory Board, VP of Phi Sigma Pi Honor Fraternity, and Secretary of the Transfer Student Organization. I’m thrilled to be a One Book Fellow again this year to help start important conversations on campus about The Handmaid’s Tale!

Bevy Daniel

Bevy Daniel

I’m Bevy, and I’m a junior from Mclean, Virginia, otherwise known as outside DC! I’m studying Social Policy with a Certificate in Civic Engagement and a minor in (maybe) Critical Theory or (maybe) Sociology. On campus, I’m involved in the theater group TBD, work as a campus tour guide, and can be found either drinking too much coffee or hanging out on the lakefill. I absolutely can’t wait to help bring the The Handmaid’s Tale to NU, and spark campus conversation around its exceptionally important topics.

In my free time, I love to try new coffee shops and restaurants in Chicago, explore the city’s art and music scene, and spend time with family and friends. I am so excited to be returning as a One Book Fellow and to help spark important discussions across campus with this year’s book selection!
