Fernando Ferreyra is a career advisor within Northwestern's Master of Science in Energy and Sustainability (MSES) Program.

He has been active in global clean energy and infrastructure markets as an investor and developer since 2006. He is currently the SVP for Global Origination at SOURCE Global, and was previously the SVP for Origination on a global basis at NBT, a Norwegian renewable energy company with operational assets in China and Eastern Europe, and with a substantial greenfield pipeline in Southern Europe and Latin America. Previously, Fernando had senior business development and management roles at Invenergy (Chicago, IL), Dax Energy (Santiago, Chile) Pattern Energy (San Francisco, CA) and Itinere North America (Washington DC). 

Between 1996 and 2006 Fernando worked as a project finance banker; in this capacity he financed over 12 GW in power generation projects and numerous infrastructure projects, with positions at Depfa Bank (MD, Madrid), Dexia Bank (VP, New York) and at The Inter-American Development Bank (AVP, Washington DC). He has work experience in more than 20 countries in Asia, EMEA and the Americas. 

Fernando received his BA from Universidad del Salvador (Argentina), his MA from The Johns Hopkins University - SAIS (USA), and obtained in 2017 an Executive Education certificate on Energy Policy and Climate Change at Harvard University (USA).
