Cohort Profile

The MSES cohort is comprised of early- and mid-career professionals who seek the knowledge and credentials to pivot into, or accelerate their career within, energy and sustainability. 

They come from wide range of roles and industries, including consulting, finance, health/medicine, government, manufacturing, public utilities, transportation. The program also admits a percentage of outstanding students coming straight from undergrad, that have a demonstrated commitment to energy and sustainability through coursework, internships, or other articulated experience.

Ideal candidates come from a broad cross-section of academic backgrounds - approximately one third of the cohort comes from each of the following disciplines: 1) engineering, 2) business/finance, and 3) physical/social sciences and the humanities.
