Caitlin Leach

caitlin.jpgCaitlin Leach joined Northwestern University's Office of Government Relations in September 2016 and is resident in the University's Washington, D.C. office. Her primary responsibilities include advocacy on research-related and regulatory matters before federal executive agencies and the U.S. Congress.

Caitlin previously served as Director of Policy and Advocacy at Research!America, the nation's largest not-for-profit public education and advocacy alliance committed to making research to improve health a higher national priority. Before joining Research!America, Caitlin was a senior legislative assistant to U.S. Representative Rush Holt (NJ-12). Her legislative portfolio included science and R&D; the economy; and appropriations. Caitlin has a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and a Master's Degree in Government with a concentration in science policy, both from Johns Hopkins University.
