Request Disability, Religious, Pregnancy or Lactation Accommodations

Office of Civil Rights and Title IX Compliance

The Office of Civil Rights & Title IX Compliance (OCR) works with students who are pregnant or lactating to provide reasonable accommodations. The Office of Civil Rights & Title IX Compliance also reviews concerns related to pregnancy discrimination and harassment reported by Northwestern community members and visitors.

Office of the Provost

Students who wish to request an academic accommodation for a religious observance or holiday can contact the Office of the Provost for assistance. Students who feel that they have experienced discrimination or harassment on the basis of religion can make a report to the Office of Civil Rights & Title IX Compliance.

Assistive Technology

When required as an accommodation, AccessibleNU provides access to assistive technology to registered students on both the Evanston and Chicago campuses. Moreover, AccessibleNU works to make assistive technology available to the wider campus community.
