Sports Medicine Clinic Information

At the Northwestern Medicine Student Health Services - Sports Medicine Clinic, we strive to keep Northwestern University students functional and active in their everyday lives. We primarily see individuals with:

  • Acute Musculoskeletal Injuries
  • Joint Sprains, Muscle Strains, etc.
  • Chronic Musculoskeletal Pain and Injuries
  • Chronic Neck and Upper Back Pain, Low Back Pain, etc.
  • Head Injuries/Concussions

Our goal is to quickly and safely return students to pain-free daily activities and the exercise/sports they love to do. We also empower students with injury education and rehabilitation to do on their own at home with provided equipment, or with one of our staff athletic trainers.

Hours of Operation

  • Monday: 9am – 5pm*
  • Tuesday: 9am – 5pm*
  • Wednesday: 9am – 5pm*
  • Thursday: 9am – 5pm*
  • Friday: 9am – 5pm*

*Last patient registration is at 4:20pm. Hours are subject to change. Hours may vary on certain holidays. Please call to confirm.

Scheduling Appointment Important Information

When scheduling an appointment with one of our Sports Medicine Physicians, any appointment for Low Back Pain, a possible Concussion, or an appointment to address two or more complaints should be scheduled for an extended (40 minute) time slot. Please note - appointments scheduled incorrectly online may be subject to change based upon clinician availability.
