We are so proud to announce that Louise Erdrich's The Night Watchman is the 2024 selection for One Book One Northwestern, the campus-wide common read program.

Edrich will be on campus on October 15 for the keynote address. Registration for tickets will start in September. In the meantime, we hope you will read her book so that you are prepared to discuss it with the first-year students during Wildcat Welcome. Thanks to the generous support of the Office of the Provost, we can provide a free electronic copy of the book to every first-year and transfer student.

The deadline for you to download your free copy is Monday, August 12, 2024.
