Maddy Bagnall

Hi! I'm Maddy and I'm a freshman in the School of Communications studying theatre and psychology with a certificate in Music Theatre. I’m from Miami Beach, FL, and back home I was involved in facilitating education on Florida ecosystems, such as mangrove forests and coral reefs, as well as larger issues of sustainability. In my free time I like playing guitar, baking, crocheting, and reading. I’m looking forward to continuing discussions around sustainability at Northwestern through ‘The Story of More’, as well as helping plan engagement with future discussions with One Book. 

Miles Lankford

Hello! My name is Miles Lankford and I am a rising junior from the Northern Virginia area majoring in Mechanical Engineering. I enjoy playing soccer as a member of the Men's Club soccer team and I’m also involved on the NU Formula Racing team and McCormick Student Advisory Board on campus. I love the outdoors, and I enjoy spending my free time hiking with friends. I can’t wait to be a member of the One Book Team and engage in new dialogue with the Northwestern community!

Duke Lin

Hey! My name is Po-Ting (Duke) Lin and I am a freshman from Taipei, Taiwan majoring in economics and minoring in business institutions. On-campus, I am involved with the Associated Student Government, Northwestern Undergraduate Research Journal, Arch Society, and the Alpha Phi Omega fraternity. Currently, I am also a research intern for the Taiwan National Defense Medical Center and an ambassador for Niche. I am excited to be a part of One Book and promote the programming for this year’s selection, The Story of More.

Hey! My name is Bobby Read and I am a rising Senior from Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio double majoring in Social Policy and Legal Studies and a Certificate in Civic Engagement. On-campus, I am also involved with the NU Marching Band, Relay for Life, University Christian Ministry, Arch Society, Student Philanthropy Council, and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia fraternity. During my non-existent free time, you can find me hammocking on the Lakefill or having photoshoots with friends. I’m excited to continue on as a member of the One Book Team for a third year and engage in dialogue with the rest of the Northwestern community.
