Alianza
The purpose of Alianza, the largest Latinx student organization at Northwestern University, is to unite and support its members to work towards the advancement of an empowered, productive, Latinx presence at this institution. Alianza is a cultural, educational, and social programming body, which also serves as a vehicle for activism.
Blackboard Magazine
This student-led publication aims at reporting on issues concerning the Black community both on Northwestern's campus and in the United States, more broadly.

Black Mentorship Program
The Black Mentorship Program (BMP) is a mentorship program for Black identifying undergraduate students at Northwestern. We believe our mission is to improve the undergraduate experience of Black students at Northwestern through mentorship, community building, racial identity development, and engagement with community resources. During its pilot and subsequent years, the program will hold regular meetings throughout the school year with topics ranging from study skills and getting acclimated to college life to what it means to be Black at Northwestern. We are student led and hope to be an asset to the broader Northwestern community by creating a strong Black community and producing confident Black student leaders. Our mission is to improve the undergraduate experience of Black students at Northwestern through mentorship, community building, racial identity development, and engagement with community resources.

Black Pre-Law Association
As a group, the BPLA wants to create an inclusive environment for Black students who are aspiring law students at Northwestern University. We have goals of acquiring experienced speakers from multiple backgrounds, going on tours of Pritzker Law school, and volunteering in the Chicago area at local centers.

Block Student Advisory Board
The Block Student Advisory Board (BSAB) is a crossroads between the Block Museum and the campus community: we are a group of students with diverse backgrounds of study (art history to engineering) who share a love of art and interest in connecting art to our lives on and off campus. The BSAB seeks to bring a multifaceted range of students into the museum to develop new ways to engage the student body and the local arts community through planning and marketing creative events inspired by the museum's exhibitions and collection.

Chapin Humanities Residential College
As Northwestern's humanities-themed residential college, Chapin fosters a humanities-focused community within the Evanston campus. Our many traditions are fun and productive ways to get to know each other and enjoy our time here, and our fellows mentor the residents and teach beyond the classroom.
College Feminists
College Feminists is the premier feminist and pro-choice organization on the Evanston Northwestern campus. We meet Mondays at 8pm at the Women's Center, discussing issues ranging from domestic violence to the college hook-up scene. We believe that every woman should be able to make her own decisions regarding abortion and birth control and we seek to educate students and the community at large about their rights to such decisions. We also work to counteract negative images of women and work against gender stereotyping. We believe in a progressive, informed, and open-minded community. We hope to accomplish these goals by rallying, and educating one another in the Northwestern Community and also by creating a network with other college campuses nationwide.
Culture and Community Studies Residential College
CCS, Northwestern University’s first residential college, founded all the way back in 1972. Our majors range from art practice to journalism to engineering, but we share a love of diverse cultures and concern for our local and global communities.
For Members Only
For Members Only (FMO) serves as Northwestern University's premier Black Student Alliance. FMO serves to encourage political, social, cultural and intellectual unity and growth first and foremost within Northwestern University's Black community, but also within the broader Northwestern community as well. FMO is the representative and political voice of Northwestern University's Black undergraduate student body.
FMO sponsors a Freshman Mentoring Program, hosts a Spring Concert, Fall Speaker, and various other cultural and community-building events throughout the year! Come out and join us for General Meetings, events, and time at the Black House (1914 Sheridan Road).

Minority Business Association
Northwestern's MBA creates minority business leaders with a commitment to giving back to their communities through education, experience, and opportunity. The vision of MBA is to equip its members with a well-rounded base of experiences to be successful in their profession. Our end goal is for all members to either pursue post-graduate education or to graduate with a full-time job. We aim to create minority leaders who are pioneers in their respective industries with a commitment to giving back to their communities through education, experience, and opportunity.
Multicultural Filmmakers Collective
We're Multicultural Filmmakers Collective at Northwestern University, but you may know us as Multiculti or MFC. We are a student group committed to promoting greater representation of people from underrepresented backgrounds in all aspects of the film community at Northwestern -from development to casting to physical production and beyond. We aim to educate students and provide them with opportunities to create thought-provoking and socially conscious content and also connect student filmmakers with the greater film industry in Chicago, L.A., and New York.

Multicultural Greek Council
The MGC is a unique community of fraternities and sororities; each of these member organizations’ foundations is founded upon celebrating cultural diversity and educating the community about its rich cultural heritage. The MGC and the Greek-letter organizations are powerful media through which group members can express and share their cultural pride. The members cherish the belief that the college experience is more valuable when it includes self-expression through the richness of diversity.
National Association of Black Journalists
The National Association of Black Journalists serves as a resource and outlet for graduate and undergraduate students interested in pursuing a career in mass communications and journalism.
As an auspice, the Northwestern chapter seeks to uphold an organic atmosphere and community in which all of our members can grow professionally and personally. NABJ-NU also creates opportunities for students to develop meaningful relationships, harness impressive skills and build confidence in their careers.

National Pan-Hellenic Association
The National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) at Northwestern University consists of seven of the "Divine Nine" historically black fraternities and sororities. Each of the NPHC organizations evolved during a period when African Americans were denied essential rights and privileges afforded to other college students. NPHC organizations maintain high positive standards for its member organizations and ensure the perpetuation of responsibility and privilege through engaging in service to the African American community at NU and the community at large.
National Society of Black Engineers
The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE)'s mission is to increase the number of culturally responsible black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact the community.

Northwestern Prison Education Program
The Northwestern Prison Education Program (NPEP) is an initiative of Northwestern University to provide a high-quality liberal arts education to incarcerated students in Illinois in partnership with Oakton Community College and the Illinois Department of Corrections (IDOC). NPEP fills a vital need in Illinois by being the only degree-granting program in the state providing a full liberal arts curriculum—humanities, fine arts, social sciences, and STEM courses—to incarcerated students. NPEP is also the only postsecondary prison education program in Illinois that accepts applications from facilities throughout the state, including from medium- and maximum-security prisons. This enables NPEP to have statewide impact and to reach students at various stages of their incarceration, allowing the liberal arts degrees that are conferred to prepare students for success across a broad range of future pursuits.
Northwestern Undergraduate Law Journal
Northwestern Undergraduate Law Journal (NULJ) provides a platform for the submission and discussion of law-related topics for students at Northwestern University. Our mission is to encourage legal and political awareness in the Northwestern community.

NU Community for Human Rights
Through programming events, seminars, exposure trips and the culminating conference, NUCHR provides a mechanism for critical discourse in order to challenge assumptions and broaden perceptions on international human rights issues at Northwestern and beyond. The three-day undergraduate student-organized conference unites student delegates from across the country with distinguished academics, activists and policy-makers from around the globe to address a unique aspect of human rights each year.
Peer Inclusion Educators
Peer Inclusion Educators (PIE) is a student organization dedicated to fostering an inclusive learning environment for issues surrounding personal awareness and social justice to peers through facilitation of specific and intentional programming to campus organizations such as student groups, Greek letter organizations and residential communities.

Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, International is a professional law fraternity advancing integrity, and courage through service to the student, the school, the profession and the community.
Radius Theatre
Radius Theatre (formerly called Voz) is dedicated to creating theatrical opportunities for and amplifying the voices of students of color.
Student Counselors for Social Justice
The mission of Student Counselors for Social Justice is to provide community, connection, training, and empowerment for online students of the Counseling@Northwestern Master of Arts in Counseling program as well as other students across Northwestern who are interested in social justice and advocacy action. SCSJ members are advocates for increasing diversity and acceptance in the world and with their clients in accordance with the ACA Code of Ethics and the mission for Counselors for Social Justice. SCSJ members work to become aware of power and privilege and how it is embedded into systems of bias. They make space to support, inspire, motivate, and encourage each other to find ways to make both small and large changes in their spheres of influence, and to become more culturally sensitive and compassionate in their work with their counseling clients.

Students Organizing for Labor Rights
Students Organizing for Labor Rights is a coalition of students at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL working toward collective liberation by building student-labor solidarity.
Studio 22 Productions
Studio 22 Productions is Northwestern’s very own student-run film/video production company. Studio 22 exists to serve and challenge the film community in all aspects and to provide opportunities to experiment in filmmaking, as well as to develop networks with alumni and film professionals. We also provide educational opportunities via workshops and speakers, and we aim to introduce new filmmakers to student film. In essence, Studio 22 continually strives to promote education, ambition, and quality in Northwestern filmmakers.
Sustained Dialogue
Sustained Dialogue (SD) is a student-facilitated program that encourages conversation across lines of difference with other Northwestern students. In the past few years, discourses have altered and shifted, but the history of white supremacy that Northwestern was founded upon remains present on our campus whether we can all see it or not. It is our role as students to listen to each other, to change, to be changed, and to participate in change that goes beyond self-improvement and learning the language of diversity.
The Collective
The purpose of the Collective is to build community on campus through increased engagement with individuals who identify as Black men, regardless of their other salient identities. Knowing that the intersection of our Blackness and manhood often grant us power and privilege, we are constantly striving to acknowledge these benefits as we better understand how we, as Black men, both benefit and suffer from systems of oppression. We encourage our members to engage with this complexity and redefine black manhood in the process through, education, and group dialogue.

Womxn in Law
Womxn in Law was founded for female-identifying and non-binary students on campus who are interested in pursuing careers in legal fields. Its main purposes are to create a support system for students interested in law, provide them with the tools necessary to thrive in the field, and to address some of the most prominent issues women and gender minorities in the field often face. Womxn in Law aims to create a network of ambitious students who are passionate about their career aspirations.
