Hello! My name is Diana Deng. I am a rising sophomore majoring in comparative literary studies. I am from Beijing, China. During my spare time, I enjoy walking around the old alleys behind my neighborhood and writing about the people living there. I like books because they document the individuality of life and history. I am excited to continue on as a One Book ambassador and share my thoughts on this year’s selection, How the Word is Passed, with the Northwestern community.
