Kellogg Graduate School of Management

Kellogg alumni in the Chicago area can program their electronic planners for the second Wednesday of each month, as the free networking and informational series, Wednesdays at Wieboldt, begins a new season.

Kicking off the fall lineup on Sept. 12 at the downtown Chicago campus is Alicia Lšffler, director of Kellogg's Center for Biotechnology. Look for a complete listing of the series schedule at www.kellogg .northwestern.edu/alumni/wieboldt.htm.

In a new technology development Kellogg is now offering Global Workplace Network, which connects alumni to other alumni at the world's top business schools via the Internet. The network at www.global-workplace.com/kellogg is a free service to a worldwide database of senior executive appointments and often unadvertised opportunities pooled from Kellogg's contacts with partner schools.

More than 500 participants enjoyed Kellogg's 2001 reunion May 4 through 6 on the Evanston campus. Among the highlights was the Special K musical spoof, Who Let the Dean Out?

The Kellogg Club of Chicago hosted an e-business event, Always On! Finding a Work/Life Balance in the New Economy, in April. It featured alumni speakers Kathy McDonald (KGSM94), author of Creating Your Life Collage: Strategies for Solving the Work/Life Dilemma (Crown Publishing Group, 2000) and Merrill Lynch vice president John J. Betterman (KGSM93).
