The Executive Committee is composed of the President, Immediate Past President, the President Elect and the chairs of the Standing Committees.

Standing Committees

All members of the Faculty Senate are expected to serve on one of the Faculty Senate’s Standing Committees.

Additional Committees

In addition to the Executive Committee and Faculty Senate Standing Committees, faculty members participate in University Standing Committees.

When necessary, the Executive Committee may establish special faculty committees to investigate and make recommendations concerning specific issues. At this time, an ad hoc committee on Athletics has been appointed to consider Athletics at Northwestern.
