Juneteenth Resource Guide
Juneteenth, celebrated on June 19th, commemorates the liberation of enslaved Black people from the violence of slavery. It is a celebration of freedom and serves as a stark reminder of both the jubilation of that long-awaited change as well as the need for continued resistance in the face of oppression.
BPN welcomes you to review the resources cultivated by Yujay Masah Northwestern University’s Black studies Librarian to share and enrich our understanding of Juneteenth as well as the era that sparked a revolution. Resource guide coming soon
