
Associate Director of High-Impact Teaching at Northwestern University’s Searle Center for Advancing Learning & Teaching
Dr. Veronica Womack is the Associate Director of High-Impact Teaching at Northwestern University’s Searle Center for Advancing Learning &Teaching. In this position, she is charged with designing educational development programs for Northwestern instructors of all levels, including the University Practicum and the CIRTL at Northwestern Certificate Program, that bolster student success and instructor vitality.
Dr. Womack also leads a multi-year cycle for updating, disseminating, and implementing the Northwestern Principles of Inclusive Teaching, a collaboratively created resource based on extensive research and scholarship. Veronica earned her doctorate in Social Psychology from Howard University and has published research on topics including mindful awareness, culturally aware mentoring, and gendered racism.
