Monique McQuay is a vibrant force both in her professional and personal circles. She is a passionate community advocate and creative dedicated to empowering individuals and strengthening communities. She serves as the Community Outreach and Engagement Coordinator at Northwestern University’s Lurie Cancer Center, where she works closely with community partners to increase cancer awareness, prevention, and access to care while addressing health disparities.

Beyond her professional work, Monique is a poet, Inspiration Architect, and founder of MoLessons, a brand devoted to healing, empowerment, and personal transformation. Through affirmation cards, workshops, and spoken word, she inspires others to reconnect with their inner strength, transform pain into power, and remember who they are.

A firm believer in the power of words to heal and uplift, Monique shares her original poetry by invitation at venues across the city, using her voice to spark reflection, courage, and hope. Today, she comes not just as an artist, but as a woman who continues to bloom where she is planted.
