Eric McGhee
Assistant Director of Access

Eric McGhee is a Senior User Support Specialist at Northwestern’s Global Marketing and Communications team, where he provides advanced technical support and manages cloud-based systems such as CrashPlan, Jamf Pro, and Falcon CrowdStrike. He also performs quality assurance and accessibility audits supporting more than 300 websites, collaborates with Wordpress developers on custom CSS and troubleshooting, and supports website migrations and refresh projects to ensure smooth, secure deployments.
Eric brings over 20 years of experience in technology-related fields, including nine years managing office desktop support at a publishing company (BPN) in Deerfield. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with an associate degree in Business Information Systems from Northwestern Business College and earned a bachelor’s degree in Video Game Art and Design from Westwood College with the same honors. Most recently, Eric completed Northwestern University’s Full Stack Coding Bootcamp and is a proud member of Alpha Beta Gamma National Business Honor Society.
As Assistant Director of Access on the BPN Steering Committee, Eric manages content for the BPN website, collaborates with the WebComm team on copy, layout, and design, and helps facilitate BPN dialogue sessions. He also supports Steering Committee initiatives and assists with Chicago campus events.
