The following parking rules and regulations for the Evanston Campus have been developed with recommendations from the Parking Committee. The committee consists of representatives of the faculty, staff and student body. You may contact the Parking Chairman at parkingchair@northwestern.edu. It should be noted that parking is very limited and purchasing a permit does not guarantee a space.

The Chief of the University Police Department may establish and enforce temporary parking restrictions deemed necessary for the safety and convenience of the University.

Persons who operate a vehicle on Northwestern's Property are responsible for knowing and complying with these regulations. All vehicles parked on the Evanston campus during enforcement hours, must display a valid permit. The university assumes no liability for loss or damage to a vehicle or its contents.
