Tracking Use of Services, Programs & Facilities

Knowing who and how many students, faculty and staff are using our services are important metrics. The following are data points from the 2015 – 2016 Student Affairs Department Annual Reports. The numbers tell a powerful story about the work we do in Student Affairs.

  • CAPS worked with 2,517 individual students
  • 356 student organizations were registered in Wildcat Connection
  • $6.7M transactions were processed by the Cashier’s Office in Norris
  • 2,447 programs were presented in the residence halls; an estimated 67,759 students attended these events
  • 29,913 rides were provided by SafeRide
  • There are 607 staff computers and 997 user accounts in the Division that are serviced by SAIT
  • SAM completed 607 marketing projects for the Division
  • 2,583 people participated in staff-led educational outreach programs offered by HPaW (e.g., Red Watch Band, Essential NUs, and various programs held for select audiences across campus)
  •  MSA staff advised 68 student groups
  • Student Enrichment Services hosted 11 events with a total attendance of 286
  • 295 students participated in Sustained Dialogue groups through Campus Inclusion and Community
  • Off-Campus Life had contact with 1,361 students and 400 “stakeholders”
  • SASS opened 569 cases
  • 525 students applied to be peer advisors or family ambassadors with New Student and Family Programs
  • 3,209 incident reports were received and processed through Maxient by Student Conduct and Conflict Resolution
  • $4,400,200 was spent on renovations to buildings/spaces in Student Affairs
  • Northwestern Career Advancement worked with 3,112 unique students
  • There were 41 weddings and 13 funerals/memorials in Alice Millar Chapel
  • University Health Service saw 9,353 individual students
  • The Dean on Call (DOC) rotation included 13 staff during 2015-16, in which the on-call team received 297 calls
  • 20 student learning assessment projects were completed
  • 886 students were registered with AccessibleNU
  • 1,110,322 meals were served by Dining/Sodexo
