McCormickAs part of the McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Science's "Mornings @ McCormick" series of breakfast meetings for alumni, Luis Amaral, professor in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering, discussed complex systems in February. Also in February, McCormick alumni, including Sarah Burns (McC03), Juliet Frederick-Shaw (McC99) and Stacey Riddell (McC86, KSM89), participated in Career Day for Girls at the Technological Institute on the Evanston campus, an event that introduces engineering careers to sixth- through 12th-grade girls. In October 2004 the Society of Women Engineers held its Industry Day career fair at the Hilton Garden Inn in Evanston. Among the alumni attending were Charlie Gans (McC02), Scott Jantz (McC00), Jan Kemper (McC03), KaNeeTa Kimble (McC02) and Wendy Willis (McC89).
