Testing Services is available as a resource to instructors in supporting students with disabilities who have AccessibleNU-approved test accommodations. As questions about testing or implementing approved test accommodations for a student in your course arise, please email Testing Services at testing@northwestern.edu for assistance.
Testing Services provides proctoring support to students on the Evanston campus who have ANU-approved test accommodations. Exams in Chicago campus and Kellogg MBA courses are proctored by their academic departments; however, Chicago students and faculty can use Testing Services in Evanston if needed.
ANU Faculty Portal
To streamline accommodation related services, ANU and Testing Services utilize the same Faculty Portal. Instructors can view information about students in their courses who have requested ANU-approved test accommodations in the ANU Faculty Portal. Please see below for a quick tutorial.
Adding TAs to the ANU Faculty Portal
If you would like your TA(s) to have full access to information about student accommodations in your courses in the ANU Faculty Portal, please email testing@northwestern.edu with the following information:
- Course number
- TA’s full name
- TA’s Northwestern email
- TA’s NetID
Testing Services Departmental Liaisons
Testing Services utilizes liaison partnerships with various academic departments to support accommodated exam proctoring. Faculty members or departmental administrators may serve as liaisons. Liaisons may support their department in the following ways:
- Complete Testing Services Proctoring Agreements
- Coordinate departmental proctoring
- Manage space reservations
- Communicate with students with test accommodations
