Caroline Freitag
Evaluation Specialist, Northwestern University Program Evaluation Core
Caroline M. Freitag, PhD, is an Evaluation Specialist embedded in Northwestern’s NSF-Simon’s Center for Quantitative Biology (CQuB) as part of our collaboration to evaluate CQuB’s training and education programs. In her position, Caroline leverages her training in neuroscience, participation in the Searle Center for Advancing Learning & Teaching’s Teaching Certificate Program, and experience creating and teaching new curricula as adjunct faculty in biological sciences and science writing at Benedictine University.
Caroline is actively involved in the International Network for the Science of Team Science’s (INSciTS) special interest group on Training and Education. She is ‘coordinator-in-chief’ of their working group focused on assessment and evaluation of team science competencies.
Caroline holds a PhD in neuroscience from Northwestern University and a BS in Human Physiology from Marquette University.
