Initiatives and Goals

Strengthen Employee Engagement & Recognition

Launch staff recognition awards and host quarterly connection events to celebrate contributions and build community. Promote awareness of NU Cares, an emergency fund supporting employees in financial crisis, reinforcing a culture of care and mutual support.

Expand Collaboration & Networking

Foster stronger connections across Northwestern through intentional networking opportunities and cross-campus engagement.

Enhance Leadership Access & Dialogue

Build relationships with senior leadership, including the University President, and organize meaningful discussions with leadership teams to amplify staff voices and share collective staff concerns.

Improve Organizational Effectiveness

Modernize and streamline NUSAC bylaws and communications to strengthen transparency, efficiency, long-term sustainability, and overall visibility.
