Ordering Regalia

Order Deadline for Caps and Gowns

  • May 21, 11:59pm EST (no charge shipping)
  • May 22nd 12am EST begins shipping charges through June 4th at 11:59pm EST when the site goes down.
  • Starting June 5th, should you have any additional questions regarding late regalia orders or deliveries, please contact your school:
    • If you are a part of the Commencement Platform Party you are unable to order your regalia using the link listed above. Please contact in order to place your Platform Party regalia order.

All order placed after June 4th will be delivered by FedEx or UPS to individual offices or where faculty designate.


  • Faculty should return regalia where they robe or after the last ceremony, they attend.
  • Boxes will be at all the locations.

The Baccalaureate Services

Baccalaureate Services incorporating many of the traditions of the University.  University Chaplain Timothy Stevens invites faculty members to participate in the service. This commitment requires faculty to present themselves in academic regalia one half hour prior to the service.

The Commencement Ceremony

The One Hundred and Sixtieth Annual Commencement will be held at 9:30 AM, Friday, June 22, 2018 at Ryan Field.

If you are marching in the procession, please arrive at the Nicolet Football Center (Room G21) for Commencement by 8:30 a.m. on Friday, June 22.  Traffic is likely to be very heavy in the vicinity of Ryan Field so allowance should be made for the possibility of delays.

If you ordered your regalia through your school, it will be delivered to your school’s office as indicated in the e-mail received from your school. If you did not order regalia but you will be bringing your own, please bring your regalia with you to Nicolet.

Light refreshments will be available in Nicolet.  Coat check facilities will also be available, and a designated person will stay with any belongings left in Nicolet during the Commencement ceremony.

The Academic Procession and the Ceremony

The academic procession is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m.  The faculty, who march at the end of the procession just before the platform party, will line up around 9:00 a.m. in two columns.  Newly appointed emeriti, assisted by the Coordinator of Marshals for Faculty, will line up at the front of each of the columns and will be seated in the front row of faculty seating.  A Faculty Marshal will be present in Nicolet and will be there to direct you to lineup.

It is anticipated that the entire Commencement ceremony will last around 90 minutes.

While the faculty arrives at the end of the processional march, it departs at the very beginning of the recessional march.  The line of march proceeds north, out of the stadium, back toward the Nicolet Football Center.

Rental regalia should be returned to the Nicolet Football Center (Room G21) at the conclusion of the Commencement ceremony unless you will need it for other convocation ceremonies.
