Social Justice Education (SJE) creates co-curricular educational opportunities in partnership with our student community that foster self-exploration, facilitate conversations across difference and support actions that create social change on campus. 

Learning Outcomes

Students who participate in SJE programs will (or will be able to):

  • develop the empathy, self-reflection, and critical thinking skills needed to engage in meaningful dialogue.identify and know how to respond to the needs in the community.
  • identify and know how to respond to the needs in the community.
  • articulate the way their social identities impact their engagement with others.
