Purple Prep

student reading Purple Prep

You'll receive Purple Prep in mid-May via physical mail. Purple Prep will prove to be your go-to guide for all things you need to know during the summer months prior to your start at Northwestern; we cannot stress enough just how important it will be for you to read through this book upon receiving it. This handy book will include a master checklist for you to keep up with everything in a single place.

The electronic copy of Purple Prep is now available at this link.

March to the Arch e-newsletters

students on the March to the Arch

The second most important item for you to read during the summer (aside from Purple Prep) is the monthly March to the Arch e-mail. We streamline all of the need-to-knows, updates, and reminders into a single email each month so you know exactly what to read and when to expect it. You'll receive this important communication item the first Tuesday of each month from May-September via your Northwestern email account; an archive will also be held on this page. Oh, we'll also include a few things that will get you excited for your time under the Arch!

Google Hangouts

Hangout with Wildcat Welcome

We have to wait so long to meet you in person, waiting until we see you for the start of Wildcat Welcome in September. But, fear not, as we have an exciting medium to chat with you and to answer any and all of the questions you have throughout the summer months. At the end of each month, we'll host our very own Google Hangout: On Air (we like to call them "Hangouts with Wildcat Welcome"). Each session will air live from our website and will include six of our student leaders (Board of Directors, Peer Advisers, or Family Ambassadors), one from each undergraduate school. We'll be spread around the globe, but will come together to answer questions that you submit live (as you watch) via Twitter, Facebook, and e-mail. Pretty awesome, right? Don't worry if you cannot watch live, we'll post the recording of each "hangout" on this page.
