The Box Office sells tickets for student organization and Norris-sponsored events. Northwestern department sales are also provided at the Box Office. These sales include theater productions, concerts, lectures, and much more.

Selling Tickets at the Norris Box Office

Recognized Northwestern University student organizations with SOFO accounts may request to print and/or sell tickets at the Norris Box Office (NBO) by submitting a completed request form to one of the Box Office student supervisors or the Box Office Manager.

The Short Form is for student organization events that only need tickets to be printed or require sales to be limited to in-person transactions. The Long Form is for student organization events intended to offer the convenience of online ticket purchasing. Online ticket purchasing also allows for print-at-home options if desired by the student group. Fees, guidelines and requirements are listed on each form. The NBO does not charge more for in-person sales at the service counter.

Please note: Requests must be done in person with one of the Box Office Student Supervisors or the Cash Operations Manager. Requests that are mailed, e-mailed or simply dropped off at the service counter with a Box Office attendant will not be processed.

For a larger event–one that will require line/queue management–the sponsoring student organization should contact the Norris Event Operations Manager and the Cash Operations Manager to work out the logistics for the first few days of ticket sales. This should be done as early as possible to determine if room reservations are necessary to accommodate a large number of ticket buyers. Managing wait queues is the responsibility of the sponsoring organization.

Should your NU student group also wish to sell tickets at the door, a separate Starting Fund Request form must be submitted to the Norris Cashier’s Office for each day sales will be conducted. This must also be done in person. Starting funds are generally provided free of charge if requested within the guidelines and requirements, as listed on the form.

Disclaimers: The Norris Box Office accepts payments for events in accordance with the event producers’ instructions. Please contact us to find out what forms of payment are being accepted for a specific event. If credit card sales are authorized by a producer, we will only accept a credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express) with the customer’s name imprinted on its face. A parents’ credit card is not an acceptable form of payment when presented by a student. Credit card numbers will not be accepted in lieu of the actual card for in-person sales.

Stamps

10:30am-6:00pm, Monday through Friday, beginning September 16th

We sell individual domestic first class stamps ($0.49), postcard stamps ($0.34) and international stamps ($1.15). Prices are subject to change without notice. For larger quantitites (full sheets of 20 domestic first class stamps only), please proceed to the Cashier’s Office–located three service windows north of us.

Norris Lockers

Keep your stuff at Norris. Lockers on the ground floor of Norris can be rented this quarter free of charge at the Box Office.

Faxes

You can send and receive faxes (within the U.S. only) at the following rates:

  • First page $1.50
  • Each additional page $0.75

Envelopes

We sell envelopes in three sizes at the following rates:

  • Business size $0.25
  • Half-page manilla $0.50
  • Full-page manilla $1.00
