Mentor/Mentee Welcome:

After Wildcat Welcome, all program participants are invited to the Mentee/Mentor Dinner for the opportunity to meet one another (not just who you are matched with, but with others throughout the program).

Mentoring Pair Activities:

Mentors should plan informal activities to enhance the program experience. Such activities may include:

  • Group lunches/dinners
  • Birthday celebrations
  • Care packages
  • Campus events
  • Student group meetings and activities
  • Residence hall/college activities
  • Movie and shopping trips

Program-Wide Activities:

During the academic year, there will be a variety of program-wide activities designed to enhance the mentor/mentee relationship. Such activities may include:

  • Television & Movie Nights@ Multicultural Center
  • Asian/Asian American Faculty & Staff Reception @ Multicultural Center
  • Volunteering Day
  • Tailgate & NU Football @ Multicultural Center
  • Outdoor Ice Skating @ Millennium Park, Chicago
  • Night at the Movies @ Century Theatres, Evanston
