The Asian/Asian American Student Experience
During Wildcat Welcome, Asian/Asian American Student Affairs and the Asian/Asian American student groups host the annual Asian/Asian American Student Experience for new students (freshmen and transfers). This program offers new students insight into what the college experience is like for Asian and Asian American students at Northwestern. New students also learn how to get involved in the Asian/Asian American community through various opportunities and resources.
MSA First-Year Activities Board
Through the First-Year Activities Board, you will meet and connect with other first-year students from around the University, learn about important resources designed to help you succeed at Northwestern, and develop important leadership skills that will last a lifetime. It's a fun, easy, and unique way of getting involved on campus.

Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month
During Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month (May), the Northwestern community acknowledges this nationally recognized month throughout the spring quarter. Programming for Heritage Month, which actually spans from April through early June, includes cultural shows, films, speakers, presentations, discussions and social gatherings. For the Asian/Asian American community at Northwestern, this part of the year is a time to celebrate culture, tradition, and talent.
Asian/Asian American Student & Alumni Networking Event
Asian/Asian American Student Affairs & the Northwestern University Asian/Asian American Alumni Association (NU-A5) partner in this event to offer undergraduate students, faculty, staff and alumni an opportnity to meet one another and talk about their experiences at and beyound Northwestern. This event allows students and alumni to begin bridging connections with one another and proivde an informal profressional mentoring network as students progress throughout their career.
Asian/Asian American Heritage Award
The Asian/Asian American Heritage Award is awarded to one graduating senior at the Multicultural Student Affairs (MSA) Senior Celebration during the end of the spring quarter.
"The Asian/Asian American Heritage Award is given in recognition of the individual who has demonstrated committment, dedication, insight, leadership, and perserverance in his/her approach to life through continuous service to and support of the Northwestern Asian/Asian American community."
