Asian/Asian American Student Affairs (A/AASA) is one of four departments within Multicultural Student Affairs (MSA). The other three departments are African American Student Affairs, Hispanic/Latino Student Affairs, and the LGBT Resource Center. A/AASA is housed within the Multicultural Center (MCC) at 1936 Sheridan Road.
Asian and Asian American students, who are of many ethnicities and identities including adoptees and mixed-race individuals, currently represent the largest racial minority group at Northwestern. The Class of 2014 has 19 percent of students who identify as Asian or Asian American.
The mission of Asian/Asian American Student Affairs (A/AASA) is to provide opportunities that enhance the collegiate experience of Asian/Asian American students at Northwestern University. Through our partnerships across campus, we offer cultural, educational, social and professional development opportunities that promote knowledge and engagement. We strive to enhance the holistic development of students to empower them to lead reflective and successful lives.
