Electric Shop services

  • Maintain all of the University’s infrastructure-related electrical systems inside and outside of buildings as well as the electrical distribution networks for the Chicago and Evanston campuses.
  • Respond to power outages by providing emergency power to key campus locations.
  • Maintain outlets, lighting fixtures (including exit signs), smoke detectors, and fire alarms.
