Join the ENERGY Nutrition Resource Group for this brown bag seminar. Whether you dine at restaurants regularly or buy meals out, it is possible to maintain a balanced diet. Learn strategies to make healthier selections at restaurants and when ordering out, get tips on eating healthy portion sizes and adding more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins, and cultivate awareness of mindful eating. New members and drop-ins are always welcome; membership is not required to attend. Feel free to bring your lunch.

Join YourLife Wellness Champions each Tuesday June 12 - August 28 for a 30-minute walk-jog. Participants can choose to walk or jog. Wear comfortable workout clothing and bring a filled water bottle to stay hydrated. PLEASE NOTE: The group will not meet on July 3.

Mindfulness Meditation: Guided Meditation

1:30 PM - 2:00 PM, Chicago

Join YourLife each Tuesday for a meditative practice. Practices will vary from in-person guided meditations, to recordings and artistic meditation. Elizabeth Tuckwell will lead the in-person guided meditations. Elizabeth is the founder of Art with Intention, a website that pairs the art of self-expression with the art of meditation. The benefits of meditation include reducing stress, improving concentration and increasing happiness. No previous experience is necessary. All are welcome.

Northwestern History Walking Tour

12:00 PM - 1:00 PM, Evanston

Join YourLife and Northwestern's University Archivist, Kevin Leonard, for this 45 minute tour beginning at 12:10 p.m. The tour will offer an introduction to Northwestern’s history and development through stops at iconic campus buildings. Concentrating on the southern portion of the Evanston Campus, we will view the University’s oldest extant structures and also visit some of its newest.
