Northwestern Office of Civil Rights and Title IX Compliance
Northwestern University is committed to fostering an environment in which all members of our community are free from discrimination and harassment—including sexual misconduct. The Office of Civil Rights and Title IX Compliance works to uphold the University’s commitment by:
- Responding to reports of discrimination and harassment, including by helping students, faculty, and staff understand the University’s processes for making such reports;
- Providing support and resources to those impacted by discrimination and harassment;
- Providing training, consultation, and resources to the University community regarding accommodating individuals with disabilities, the University’s affirmative action programs for faculty and staff, and responding to reports of discrimination and harassment; and
- Working with students, faculty, and staff to revise and implement policies related to discrimination, harassment, and providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities.
Women's Center
The Women's Center is committed to advancing women, gender equity, and inclusion through engaging the Northwestern University community. As catalysts for change, we foster the development of individual and collective strengths to cultivate socially responsible students, staff, and faculty.
Multicultural Student Affairs (MSA)
Multicultural Student Affairs (MSA) enriches the cultural experience of Northwestern through leadership and education programming; providing opportunities for community engagement and identity expression; and assisting students in navigating the University.
Student Enrichment Services (SES)
Student Enrichment Services partners with FGLI students – pronounced figly – who are first-generation, lower-income, and/or DACA/Undocumented. SES works with these students to foster identity development, navigate campus resources, and build community.
Through campus-wide partnerships and advocacy, SES strives to build an inclusive Northwestern community that is welcoming, supportive, and accessible for all students.
Searle Center for Learning & Teaching
At the Searle Center for Advancing Learning and Teaching, we support university-wide diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, particularly those that relate to cultivating inclusive learning environments in which students from all backgrounds can succeed.
