Northwestern alumnus John Huston (WCAS99) and his expedition partner Tyler Fish reached the North Pole on April 25, wrapping up a 54-day journey that began in early March in northern Canada. Northwestern alumnus Michael Barratt will spend the next 200 days aboard the International Space Station. Barratt (FSM85, GFSM88, 89), who says he spent "four fabulous years in the medical school" at Northwestern, will serve as a flight engineer when Expedition 19 blasts off March 26 from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan.
