Feinberg School of Medicine

In August the Feinberg School of Medicine welcomed 170 members of the class of 2007, and faculty members continued the long-standing tradition of hosting dinners for incoming students. In November in New York City, Dean Lewis Landsberg met with alumni, and Jack Kessler, chair of the school’s neurology department, spoke to members of the NU Club.

Alumni Eleanor Baldwin (GSESP66) and Howard Traisman (WCAS43, FSM46, GFSM47, 51) were among the honorees at the third annual Feinberg School of Medicine Gala, held Nov. 8. The auditorium at the Robert H. Lurie Medical Research Center, to which the Baldwin Family Foundation made a $1 million gift, will be named for Baldwin, a longtime supporter of the Division of Vascular Surgery. Traisman, an alumni leader and donor, made a gift to name the Howard and Regina Traisman Student Lounge at the medical school.
